Our Services

Professional Supervised Visitation
Across Southern California

Every service is delivered by a trained, background-checked supervisor — ensuring child safety and producing court-ready documentation for every session.

Core Service

Supervised Visitation

A certified supervisor is present throughout the entire visit between a child and a non-custodial parent — ensuring safety and documenting all observations in real time for court use.

  • Trained, background-checked supervisors
  • Real-time contemporaneous session notes
  • Court-formatted written report within 48–72 hours
  • Available 7 days a week across all service counties
High-Conflict Families

Monitored Exchange

A supervisor facilitates the child transfer between parents at a neutral location — eliminating direct contact in high-conflict situations and ensuring every transition is safe and documented.

  • Neutral third-party oversight of every transfer
  • Eliminates direct parent-to-parent contact
  • Written exchange documentation after each session
  • Flexible community-based locations throughout Southern California
Where Court Orders Permit

Virtual Supervision

When in-person visits are not required or practical, we facilitate and monitor video visits — with the same documentation standards as in-person services.

  • Secure, monitored video platform
  • Full session notes and written report
  • Available for out-of-state or distant parents
  • Lower-cost alternative per court order
Legal Documentation

  • Timestamped observations for the full session
  • Formatted to California family court standards
  • Direct attorney and GAL communication at no charge

About Us

Our Mission:
Supporting Every Connection

Supporting Connections Foundation was founded on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to maintain safe, meaningful relationships with both parents — and that professional supervised visitation services should be accessible to every family, regardless of income.

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we offer grant-subsidized sliding-scale fees that make our services available to families who might otherwise go without.

FAQ

Common Questions About
Supervised Visitation in Southern California

Can't find your answer? Reach out through our contact form — we're happy to walk you through the process.

What is supervised visitation and do I need it?
Supervised visitation is a court-ordered arrangement where a professional third party is present during a visit between a child and a parent. Courts typically order it when there are safety concerns, a history of domestic issues, or when rebuilding a parent-child relationship under monitored conditions. If your court order specifies supervised visitation, you are required to use a qualified provider.
How does the sliding-scale fee work?
Your sliding-scale rate is determined during intake based on verified household income and family size. You'll provide documentation such as recent pay stubs or a prior-year tax return. All income information is kept strictly confidential. Based on your documentation, our coordinator will place you in the appropriate fee tier. No family is turned away — grant-funded subsidies are available for qualifying families.
How do I start a case?
Contact us through the form on this page, or reach out directly by phone or email. Have a copy of your court order handy if possible. We'll review the requirements, conduct an intake assessment, determine your sliding-scale rate, assign your supervisor, and typically have your first session scheduled within 48–72 hours of completing intake.
Which counties do you serve?
We serve families across five Southern California counties: Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego. Our headquarters is in Riverside at 5015 Canyon Crest Dr., #102. Contact us to confirm service availability in your specific city.
Where do visits take place?
Sessions take place at community locations mutually agreed upon by both parties — typically public parks, family-friendly restaurants, indoor play areas, or other neutral venues throughout Southern California. We work with families across all five counties and will help identify appropriate locations near you.
Are your reports accepted by California family courts?
Yes. Our session reports are written in objective, non-editorial professional language, timestamped throughout the session, and formatted to meet the documentation standards required by California family courts. Reports are accepted by courts in Riverside, San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego Counties.
Can my attorney contact you directly?
Absolutely. Attorneys and guardians ad litem are welcome to contact us to discuss a client's case, request reports, or coordinate documentation. Attorney communication is always included at no extra charge. We work alongside legal counsel regularly and understand the demands of family law litigation.
Is Supporting Connections Foundation licensed or accredited?
Supporting Connections Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in California (EIN: 42-4278818, State ID: b20260356407). Our supervisors are trained and background-checked. Contact us for more information about our qualifications and certifications.
Can I donate to support families who can't afford services?
Yes — and we deeply appreciate it. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donations to Supporting Connections Foundation are fully tax-deductible. Your donation directly subsidizes supervised visitation services for low-income families throughout Southern California. Reach out or visit our Donate section to learn how to give.
